Now
It doesn't matter what your problem is, if it's about Amazon Prime or about an order, whatever it is these are the numbers you should use. And by the way If you're looking to contact customer service for Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk or .ca then check out my other videos for that and the links are in the description as well.
Okay ,So those are the numbers if you want to call Amazon.in customer service yourself, and that's the old-fashioned way. Now let me show you how to get a customer service agent to call you instead and you can even let them know what language you want the agent to speak, so let's unbox that!
Now to get Amazon to call you back you will actually need to be in India. And then all you need to do is go to the "contact us" page on the Amazon.in website. And you can use the link in the description below to take you there, and that will work if you're using your phone as well. Once you're at the "contact us" page you first need to tell them what the problem is.
So choose from one of these four options above. Now, this is just so that they can get the best suited agents to call you back. But even if you mess up this selection, if you explain your problem to the agent on the phone then they can easily transfer you to the right Department if needed.
Anyway,
If it's an order you need help with click this button and you'll see your recent orders below. If you don't or if it's not the right order then click here so you can find the right order. If your problem is about an Amazon device, like a Kindle or other device, click on "devices" and then select the registered device that you need help with, or click on "my device not shown".
If your issue is about digital products like Kindle books, Prime videos and so on, then click "digital services" and then select the specific digital service you need help with. So for example If you need up with Prime video and the issue is how to register your device then once you select that you'll get options below for how to contact them. And the fourth option is if your issue is non-order related, or about Amazon Prime.
So for example, if you just have a general question, you want to know how to place an order for example, or you have a question about Amazon Prime. Click the fourth button. Now you'll notice these options over here.
These are just the most common things that people need help with.
So for example
How To Cancel Amazon Prime?
If you want to cancel Prime then just click on "manage Prime membership" to take you to where you can cancel it yourself and you don't need to contact customer service anymore. And it's the same thing with all these other options. But if none of these apply to you and you still need to speak to someone then go to "tell us more about your issue", click on "please make a selection" and you'll see more options. Now I'm not going to go through all of these. You can select the one that applies to you, and you'll see it's contextual.
So depending on what you select there might be another drop-down selection. "Placing an order" for example, gives you another field to select from to narrow down your issue So I'll say "other questions about placing orders", and you see here how the phone option isn't available right now. If the phone option is grayed out then that basically means that that department that handles that particular issue isn't available on phone right now. So the other option might be to contact them via chat or email.
But if you prefer to actually talk to someone on the phone just select a different issue where the phone option is available. You can still get a normal, general customer service agent to call you back and in most cases they can still help you solve your problem.
So what I'm saying is you don't need to describe your problem 100% accurately. Do the best you can of course but as long as you get to speak to someone they can help you, or transfer you to the right department, or get a specialist to call you back. So if you really do want to speak to someone via phone then the quickest way is to select "non-order related" then "Prime membership" and then any of these options below will work.
So if I select "cancel membership" for example, then the phone option is available. Now you can first choose what language you'd like to speak to the agent, and for this particular issue, it's Hindi or English. But for other issues you might also have Telugu and Tamil as options. You can also ask the agent on the phone, once you speak to someone, if they can transfer you to someone who speaks your language.
Anyway,
If you select your language and the phone option gets grayed out then that just means that the phone line for that language is closed at the moment. But they'll always have English phone agents available. But in this case here, I'll select Hindi. You'll notice the issue selections you've just made, and you can change that if you want. And Above that you select your region And, as I said, Amazon.in will call you back if you are in India. If you're not in India, then you'll need to use this number to phone them. But if you are in India then type in your 10 digit phone number here, including your STD code and then click on call me now and you should get a call within 60 seconds. Now as I said, you'll find a link to the contact us page in the description Above.
But if you want to get there yourself, here's how to do that. On Amazon.in click on "customer service" at the top or you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "help" over here. On the next page scroll down again and just move or hover you mouse cursor over "customer service" and then on the right click on "contact us" and that takes you to the "contact us" page.
